Frankly, if I didn’t have to have a cell phone, I probably wouldn’t.
Everyday. People calling and selling this, that, or the other thing.
Text messages from God knows who.
Nope. I’m not a fan of cellphones. And I’m sure not a fan of the apps on them (most are trash).
It’s this simple.
Reaching out and touching someone is one thing.
Reaching out and mauling them? That’s something else.
Maybe one fine day, I’ll retire, take the phone out, mount it to a post, and put a couple of bullets through it.
Yeah. That would feel good.

I understand your opinion of cellphones, William. I often call mine the stupid smartphone. I do use it, to keep my shopping list and track the battery usage on my hearing aids. There are times when I have to use it for email because I’m babysitting two young grandsons without my laptop.
