What is something you wish you could tell your 20-year-old self?
Okay, I’ll bite. I’m also plagiarizing a little here, but hey, truth is truth, and if you must, steal from the best.
Here we go.
“There’s hundreds of trillions of planets, orbiting hundreds of trillions of stars in hundreds of trillion galaxies and they’re all going around one point in the universe.
“Guess what.
“Suprise! You aren’t i,.” I’d say.
Then I’d add, “For Pete’s sake, Grow up. It’s not all about you.”

Thinking of all those stars as suns with planets is fantastic, Richard, and bound to be correct.

One of the wildest things that ever went through my mind was lying in a sleeping bag up in the mountains, with only the campfire for illumination and the heavens stretched out from horizon to horizon. Looking up and wondering if anyone was looking back towards us. Of course, it might have been a whole lot of no one out there. Either way, the idea is staggering.
