For me, it’s an easy answer.
Pontius Pilate would make the top of the list and that’s because he asked the second, most important question in history.
He asked Jesus “What is truth?”
You see, I was raised to believe “Nothing I hear and only Half of What I see.”
In today’s AI age, where opinions, news, images, you name it, are often skewed or outright lies, that’s still my bottom line (though what I see is now up around 90%).
In our day and age, his question becomes doubly important.
NOTE: The Early Church regarded Pilate and his wife as saints. Makes me wonder if he didn’t realize one day that Truth had been standing in front of him all along.
