The middle name is “Lee”.
This prompt caused me to look it up and find out what Lee actually stands for.
I went to Google, put in “What does the middle name Lee mean?”
Here’s what it spit out.
First “Lee” is Old English and comes from the word “Leah” which means “Cleaing in the woods” or a “Meadow.” It’s all about nature adn Tranquility.
Lee is also a good Chinese surname, and is attributed with Strength and Integrity. It’s often linked with perseverance and hope. It’s most common as a last name, and since near as I know, I have no family connections to China (but then you never know. The Middle East has been the crossroads of the world for tens of thousands of years), I can’t really say it applies to me. BUT, I’ve been accused have having the traits the name invokes.
In my family, it’s become common for the boys to have the name. My son, son-in-law has, and two grandsons carry the name.
But what the names stands for is all me. Nature, Strength. Resilience.
The name fits my personality more than my first name. Had I known that way back then, I might have ran by my middle name rather than my first.
Maybe if i ever drag the Science-Fiction novels I’ve written out of the file cabinet and publish them, I’ll create a pen name with Lee in it!
