Unemployment Stinks!

I was actually going to use a much stronger word than “Stinks.” While it might have made me feel better, it certainly would offend most of you, so I won’t.

What’s worse is surfing the maze of trying to get unemployment benefits. It’s not easy and seems geared to make sure it becomes a difficult process.

It’s a chaotic nightmarish road with few signposts on it.

But as a character said, there’s opportunity in Chaos. And there certainly opportunity here.

So, while I’m navigating that, let’s talk about what I’m doing with the chaos.

I’m Writing!

In the last several weeks, I’ve split my day.

I fire off resumes in the morning.

I write in the afternoon.

Part of that has been revisiting what’s been written. In the last two weeks, I’ve revisited Book one, the cross and the Badge. I gave it the ProWritingAid treatment and cleaned up a ton of stuff. I’m almost 3/4s done with Life on Mars. Like The Cross and the Badge, it will get a new cover.

I hope to republish both on amazon this week.

When I’m done with that, Broken People will be next. I generated the cover already for it and it’s epic.
