The movie Serendipity Pretty well sums up what I want people to say about me.
In it, a character says the ancient Greeks never wrote Obits. That’s the way I want it.
Indeed, in my final arrangements, I want no mention the world that I’ve died. No obits. I mean I there was no announcement that I was born. Why should I bother to let the world know I’d grown tired of it and changed addresses.
But there is one thing I hope people do say.
I hope they say he had “passion.”
Passion for God.
Passion for loving the Love of his life.
Passion for living.
Passion for people.
And a passion for pushing to achieve the impossible.
If they can say that, then that can be my obit.
