Some of these writers’ prompts are too easy.
I’m tempted to say Jesus, but I’ve already met him. That happened when I got stupid out of season, fell from a high metal ladder onto power lines, and had a Near Death Experience (or NDE as some folks call them. Sound like a piece of a spacecraft or airplane). Read about that here?
I’m almost tempted also to say the Apostle Paul. I’m not sure Paul and I would have gotten along. The boy seems way too high strung for me. I’d have to pass.
But my choice would have probably brought me into contact with Paul. The one historical person I’d have liked to have met was Paul’s fellow traveler and biographer, Dr. Luke.
Why?
Luke was a scientist at heart. He examined things, he researched things. He pulled information together and wove it into a coherent and world changing story. I’d have loved to gone through his notebooks.
Yeah. I think the Good Doctor and I would have gotten along just fine.
I wonder if he would have liked coffee?

I had a book about Luke (a historical novel more than anything else). I can’t find it, but I enjoyed it.

I’d be interested in it, if you can even remember the name of it. Or author. The last time I read through Luke, I experienced such a sensation of welcome in it.
