Call it “my Spider sense.”
Call it “a tremor in the force.”
Whatever.
I prefer to think of “My Instincts” as a God given gift. That gut check has been proven right more times than I care to mention. Something happens, and I already know what to do.
All I know is I pick up on things. A word here. A grouping of people that shouldn’t be there. Sometimes it’s seeing something others don’t see.
Years of dealing with the human race has taught me to be very vigilant. If it feels weird or dangerous, I’m usually correct.
And years of dealing with systems has taught be the answer that comes to mind is usually correct.
I trust more than I care to mention. They’ve kept me walking out of situations where I didn’t have a right to be carried out of.
They haven’t let me down yet.

It’s great that you can trust your instincts, Richard, and wonderful that you consider it a gift from God. Have a happy Veterans Day.
