I wouldn’t.
While I hope to die with the words “It’s been fun” on my lips, I also look back and consider myself blessed to have made it this far. God knows, there’s been plenty of chances for me to cash in my insurance policy.
I haven’t verified this (I don’t tend to go to class reunions) but this is what I heard. I graduated from a High school class of 166 people. There’s 41 of us left. Or so I hear.
The smart money said I would be among the first to die because of my former professions.
Instead, I’m among the last of the survivors. And the shape I’m in, I just might make it to be the last one standing.
So, no, thank you. I went through too much hassle to get here.

Yes, Richard, I feel the same way, though, at times, I feel like if I went through some events again I would do a better job or just do what’s right.

Even with what I know now, TW, there’s no bet that I still wouldn’t screw it up. like a character says in my next book, “Maybe isn’t a word. It’s an equation we can never prove.”
