Finding Balance: Sleep, Writing, and Morning Time

Too late and too early.

The time between 9 PM and 11 PM is prime writing time for me.

Then I get up about 5:15 AM to get some prayer time in. Then I spend an hour with my beautiful bride over Coffee and hang with the puppy dogs. At 7 AM, I’m at work.

Do I get enough sleep?

Probably not. I always like to joke that I’ll get all the sleep I need when I’m dead.

But if my understanding of the universe and how it really runs is correct, then I’m sure the resurrection will happen exactly five minutes after I’m declared dead.

Somehow, I don’t think there’s a snooze button on eternity.
