Help Choose the Title for The Lawman Book 5

The next book in The Lawman series is slated for release around Christmas of 2025.

I’m up in the air as to what to call it, so I’m throwing open a vote on it.

To help the decision process, here’s a little about it.

When a police officer is shot by another officer, the question soon becomes was this an accident or attempted murder. It takes a look at relationship among officers. It deals in ethics and beliefs. And it deals with forgiveness.

Now the two titles I’m debating:

Internal Affairs – Internal Affairs deals with the investigations of incidents in or between Departments. In the novel, Tony Madril, the former sheriff is running this department and is lead investigator. This title focuses on the department.

My Brother’s Keeper – This focuses on the people involved in the investigation. In the novel it deals with motives and what led up to case. And it asks how far would you go to protect someone?

So, vote for which you like better:
