Actually, there’s several. To a large degree they’ve shaped who I am.

1: A ship in harbor is safe. But that’s not what a ship is made for.

2: Overcome. Improvise. adapt.

3: Never argue with a fool least you become one.

4: Opinions are like (insert your favorite word here). Everyone has one.

5: You have to give respect to get it.

6: Specialization is for insects!

7: I’ve been dead before. It’s very liberating!

8: I am a child of God.

9: Treat everyone the way you want to be treated.

10: Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you.

11: Hate causes nothing but trouble. But Love can fix those troubles.

12: And one of my personal Favorites: “If God chooses to use you to speak out of, remember one thing. God spoke to Balaam out of his donkey. And He’s been using donkey’s ever since.”
