The Temptation of Convenience in Cooking

I kind of struggled with this question.

Technology, after all, is a double edge sword. In many ways, it makes our lives easier. In many ways it makes out lives harder.

And Truth be told, without it, many of us would be dead.

Not to mention it’s helped me make a damn fine living.

But if there’s one thing I’d point at, it’s the microwave oven.

it’s way too tempting just to go to Wal-Mart, buy a frozen dinner, and pop it in. it’s way to easy to put a bag of popcorn in it and pop away.

To me, cooking, even making popcorn, is something to be enjoyed. The microwave makes it too easy to pass the buck.

And where’s the fun in that?
