That’s a goal that is always in front of me. You see, I want to make a living off my writing. I’m not talking super rich (thought that would be nice) but doing well enough I could officially do it full time. There would be no need for a day job to keep the bills paid.
I’d do it at the keyboard.
But for the time being, it’s doing the work to get there.
I’m actually amazed at how many writers don’t understand they have do marketing to get there. So many of them write the book, toss it out on Amazon and wait for the world to beat a path to their door.
It doesn’t work that way.
You see, becoming a full-time author isn’t as easy race. it’s full of rocks, blind corners, steep hills, and rainstorms.
But thank God I was a marathon runner. Running marathons taught me one thing.
You don’t cross the finish line unless you keep going.
