Athletes I Look Up To: Manning and Ali

There are three kinds of people I’ve never meet.

I have yet to met a President of the United states.

I have yet to meet an astronaut.

I have yet to meet a professional athlete.

Truth be told, I probably wouldn’t cross the street to meet a President.

All the astronaut’s I’d want to meet like John Glenn and Jim Lovell are dead (I still want to meet an astronaut).

That leaves athletes.

There’s two that spring to mind. One is Peyton Manning. He’s in control and still looks laid back. Cool is the word I’d use to describe him.

The other is one I won’t meet in the world. That would be Muhammad Ali. The man didn’t know how to quit, and that’s a trait I admire.
