Daily writing prompt
Write about a random act of kindness you’ve done for someone.

I do all kinds of silly things that can be misconstrued as being kind to people.

But I won’t brag about them.

The way I see it, we’re all stuck on this rock together. It’s whizzing around the Sun at almost thirty thousand meters per second. The Sun is going around the center of the Galaxy at a little over five hundred thousand miles per hour. The Milky Way Galaxy is moving along at around 1.3 million miles per hour.

When we look out there, we’re all going nowhere fast.

And in all that, we seem to be totally alone. The people on this planet are all we have.

That makes us all travelers through the corridors of space and time.

And since it’s our responsibility to look after our fellow travelers, why brag about something you should be doing anyway.
