Daily writing prompt
What are you most worried about for the future?

There’s a lot in the world that can go wrong.

I could have a heart attack.

I could develop cancer.

I could lose my job.

I could lose everything I own.

I could live to be a hundred and twenty.

Someone might get stupid and send a few A-Bombs down range (I do live next door to ground zero).

A gunman could walk into my church and start blasting away.

My wife could get sick.

My wife could die.

My children might get sick.

My children might die.

I don’t worry.

Instead, I’d rather turn and listen to a Jewish carpenter. He said it perfectly, “Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.”

As for dying!

I’ve already been dead once. It’s very liberating!
