If I could be someone else for a day, who would you be, and why?

That’s a tough question, you know.

I wouldn’t mind trading places with Neil as he took the first step on the moon. I wonder what that felt like for him. Or to live with the idea that he was the first.

And I wouldn’t mind being Lindbergh alone, someplace over the Atlantic. Just being alone and doing what everyone said was impossible.

But if there’s anyone then I’d say the Apostle John. I know Jesus from the Bible. And I know him from a million paintings. I know him from movies and TV shows like The Chosen (which by the way is awesome). But I’d have just liked to have hung with Him for a single day. I’d have enjoyed hearing His voice and his laugh. Share a simple meal with Him and the others. And I’d hope for a half hour of time with Him alone. I’ve so many questions.

I reckon they’ll have to wait.
